Banglalink signs MoU with AIUB to facilitate students’ learning & skill development

Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in the country, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) to provide its students with an opportunity to upskill themselves by learning from Banglalink professionals and participating in various programs.

Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, Banglalink, Cem Velipasaoglu, Chief Financial Officer, Banglalink, R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement & Alumni, AIUB, Shama Islam, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, AIUB, Ayesha Saeed, Head of Talent Management, Banglalink and Ankit Sureka, Head of Corporate Communications & Sustainability, Banglalink participated in the signing ceremony, which was held virtually due to the pandemic situation.

Along with joining Banglalink’s youth empowerment programs such as Learn from the Leaders, Learn from the Startups, Campus to Corporate, Career Bootcamp, Womentor, Ennovators, Strategic Assistant Program, Advanced Internship Program and Campus Ambassador Program, AIUB students will study Banglalink’s cases as part of their curriculum under this agreement.

R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement & Alumni, AIUB said, “This agreement between AIUB and Banglalink is a major step in creating a platform with the aim of developing the employees of tomorrow. We at AIUB look forward to working with Banglalink to foster greater cooperation for the benefit of our students.”

Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, Banglalink said, “In today’s skill-based global economy, the most effective way to empower youth is to provide them with skill development opportunities. Banglalink has been running a number of programs with this objective for a long time. Today, we are happy to make this agreement, which will enable AIUB students to join these programs and learn from our seasoned professionals.”

The virtual signing ceremony was followed by a Learn from the Leaders session conducted by Cem Velipasaoglu, Chief Financial Officer, Banglalink.
