In collaboration with Startup Bangladesh and Toggi Services Limited, GDG DevFest Hack Sprint 2018 met different young innovators across the country this year. The day long festive program organized by Google Developer Group Sonargaon, GDG Sonargaon held at Bangladesh Computer Council on November 25.
Twenty five teams from 25 different universities of the country took part in this program. Participants of each group had to present their innovative ideas to the experts and investors. Each group got 10 hours for presenting the ideas under the product design competition.
The competition was divided into three categories with three different themes: Tourism, Education and Earning and Internet of Things (IoT). The competitors got first 30 minutes to solve a Google code lab and then the mentors conveyed good suggestions for their product design.
The three winning teams have been declared after ten hours product designing. Team Daffodilians, Asymptote and BUET Starradian were declared as winners.
BUET CSE Head Professor Dr. M Kaykobad, Startup Bangladesh Investment Project Director Tina F Jabeen, GDG Sonargaon Community Manager Ishtiak Reza, Toggi Services Head of HR Raihanul Islam were present at the ceremony including iPay Marketing Expert Jashita Sanjana.
Toggi Services Limited, an Enterprise of Bashundhara Group will provide the chance of internship to the winning team.
